Chafe’s Landing

Chafe’s Landing is a full-service seafood restaurant offering a Newfoundland experience with traditional live music, screech-ins, kitchen parties, and more. We’re lucky to be very close to the ocean and as such are able to get the freshest fish there is to offer. Codfish is king in Newfoundland therefore you’ll see a lot of it on our menu! Our fish and chips are a favourite among guests with our family’s secret batter recipe and always fresh flaky fillets.

Our goal was simple from the beginning: Serve guests fresh, local food while treating them in a way Newfoundlanders and Labradorians are famous for—like family. We’ve got three generations of the Chafe family working with us along with relatives and close friends and we’re always ready to tell you a story or two about our life here on the island.
