Hawthorne Cottage National Historic Site of Canada was the Brigus home of one of Canada’s foremost Arctic navigators and explorers, Captain Robert Bartlett. Explore this rare 19th century example of the “picturesque” or “cottage orne” architectural style. In the house and on the grounds, exhibits, audio tours, and live theatre let you discover the many achievements and adventures of this great man.
