Peter Lewis Gallery

The Peter Lewis Gallery is a distinguished and welcoming fine art gallery located in the heart of downtown St. John’s, in one of the city’s beautiful heritage properties. Opened in July 2009, the Gallery celebrates a diverse collection of original works from regionally inspired artists including Peter Lewis, whose impressionistic style details local and international backdrops with unique and vibrant imagination. His vibrant oils and charcoals are often large scale and depict the landscapes from locations in Newfoundland and Labrador, Arizona, Ireland, Italy and France and many more places where he draws his inspiration. As a plein air artist, Peter’s creative style arises from vistas and scenery with powerful compositon and rich color.

To view the evolving works from over 12 artists, The Peter Lewis Gallery can be visited Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm or by appointment.
