At The Rooms, you’ll find exhibitions, programs, and interactive activities that tell the province’s stories through art, artifacts, archaeology, architecture, and archival records.
Our museum tells the stories of this place and its diverse peoples. Over a million specimens and artifacts bring these stories to life, connecting us with our past and the environment that has both shaped our experiences and been changed by our presence.
Don’t miss our award-winning permanent exhibition Beaumont-Hamel and the Trail of the Caribou: Newfoundlanders and Labradorians at War and at Home 1914-1949. Housed in the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Gallery, the exhibition opened on July 1, 2016, on the 100th Anniversary of Beaumont-Hamel.
